The Basic Bathroom Co. has been offering property owners throughout New Jersey and Eastern Pennsylvania several options for amenities and fixtures from leading manufacturers including Moen, Kohler, and Timberlake. Now, The Basic Bathroom Co. is proud to announce that it will once again offer its labor-only option for bathroom remodeling projects.
According to Partner/Founder Stuart Perlman, “We are re-introducing our labor-only bathroom remodel to further meet the needs of our customer base. The Basic Bathroom Co. model was based on allowing its customers to shop and purchase their own bathroom fixtures and tile. We would then install all these customer-supplied items and only charge for labor. We changed our business model in May 2014 to offer full-service bathroom remodeling, which included a shop-at-home experience for materials necessary to complete the project.”
However, there was a customer-base that still preferred to provide their amenities. Perlman adds, “Almost 40% of our customers in 2014 were referrals or previous customers. These customers appreciated the shop-at-home experience. But, after surveying prospects that did not select us as their bathroom remodeler, we identified that the primary factor behind the bathroom installation project not moving forward was that many of these individuals wanted to shop for their own materials. So, to meet the needs of these individuals, The Basic Bathroom Co. will now offer labor-only pricing, the shop-at-home experience, or any combination of the two.”
